Processing should never be a state of permanence. It can be a beautiful liminal space of transformation. But we must, we absolutely must, dance to the other side.
Here is my letting go story. Breaking free through improvised movement on Machu Picchu. After months of letting go of people, places and stories no longer meant for me.
Dance between light and shadow. Accept that you will forget in order to remember. Listen to the call. Find stillness in movement. Surrender to the gravity pulling you home.
Let us not only show the magnitude of our hurt with “MeToo”, but let us also share the magnitude of our healing with "I Will Stand".
In true gratitude we no longer say “I’m going to grow and move on in spite of this”, but “I’m moving on and growing even more because of this”.
I am. You are. We are. Love.
We didn’t come here to be mastered souls, we came here to be perfectly flawed. And a huge part of life is stumbling, often. This is where the lessons are, the growth. And just because we stumble, doesn’t mean we aren’t perfect. Stumbling is part of what makes us perfect. It’s what makes us human.
I believe that love manifests itself in a myriad of mystical, mysterious and magical ways. I believe that love can be REVEALED in a thought, in a feeling, and in an action. However, these materializations are merely finite representations of what love truly is beneath the surface.
